It has been almost three months since COMET went live for Change Control & Escalation! The Change Control process was the last Quality System to move to COMET. The overall migration from Trackwise/ETS to COMET has gone smoothly but of course there were a few hiccups with the transition. We would like to thank all of you for your collaboration and patience in the past months. With your help we could identify problems that were not caught during implementation testing and the system has become more user friendly because of it.

Hypercare

Over 100 users have attended the online and walk-in Hypercare sessions, organized from February 17th to March 13th. During these sessions, discussions were held about the workflow and issues that users ran into. Because of the active participation of the attendees of these sessions, most issues could be solved, and training documents were adjusted and improved. Issues that were of technical nature were quickly escalated to the technical global team.

The Hypercare program as mentioned above has come to an end, but this does not mean there is nowhere to go with your questions. Please visit the JBV Quality Landing Page where you can find SOP/WI/Job Aid references, training overviews, templates, a FAQ list, video demonstrations and much more.

Access and training

Before the go-live of the system, more than 550 future COMET change control users had attended the classroom Delta training which focused on the differences between Trackwise and COMET, specifically for the Leiden Change Control process. During this training there was the opportunity to ask questions and express concerns. We were very pleased to have received a lot of positive feedback on this training.

To gain access to the system and get a specific role that fits your business needs, you can follow The COMET Change Control access process. Here, you can find an overview of the roles and their corresponding curricula. An access request step has been built-in (acknowledge completion) at the end of each curriculum which will automatically inform Leiden JBV Quality Systems to process your access in COMET.
