First results of the JJIM.bio: satisfying!

Last time, we launched the first JJIM.bio. That was quite exciting after almost fifteen years of JBVandaag! However, the first reactions have been nothing but positive, so we can breathe a sigh of relief. Of course, the name takes some getting used to, but those who took the trouble to provide feedback are very enthusiastic about the new 'look & feel'. It now looks more like a magazine than a newsletter, which is exactly what we wanted. To give you an impression of the reactions, I'll share a few key words we received: beautiful metamorphosis, super organised, very informative, fantastic, nice JJIM., it has never looked better, well done, very professional, compliments! We would almost walk next to our shoes....

The most read article from last time was – and this probably does not surprise you – about service dog Nigrum. Puppy stories and especially pictures always do well, of course. Meanwhile, Nigrum has grown considerably and is becoming more and more accustomed within the R building. Owner Eric will regularly write a column on Nigrum's behalf in which you can follow Nigrum's adventures. What also captures the imagination, but on a completely different plane, I think, is LEGO. Since our oldest son did an internship with them, I have found out that there is a whole new target group for LEGO and that is: adults. Even within J&J Innovative Medicine; just read the story LEGO in Lean Manufacturing training.

One of the things that came up while brainstorming the new JJIM. were themed issues. However, this is difficult to achieve in practice because we often receive articles spontaneously and so it's not really manageable. So how nice is it when you receive one article after another on QC? Then it still becomes a theme issue with QC in the leading role. Noor Vroege-Tielen talks about their strategy, Suzanne Verhaegh talks about the QC Mission KPI Impossible, among other things, as well as the QC Microbiology Milestones. And to top it off, veteran Stef Keur, best known within QC, talks about what he fills his days with these days and whether he misses us.

In addition, of course, there are many more topics to talk about. Please scroll on. Happy reading!

Enjoy reading! And don't forget to send in your vacation photo, see the call to the right.
